Q. How do I apply to the Mountainside Hospital Family Medicine Residency?
A. Applications must be submitted through ERAS at www.aamc.org/students/eras.

Q. What are the criteria for applying to Mountainside Hospital Family Medicine Residency?
A. Applicants must pass the USMLE Step I and Step II-CK/CS Exam or COMLEX I & II.

Q. Do you consider year of graduation when accepting applications?
A. Applicants must have graduated within the preceding 5 years.

Q. Is US Clinical Experience a must?
A. Applicants must have at least one (1) year of United States Hospital Clinical Experience.

Q. Do you accept international graduates and do you have different criteria for international graduates?
A. Yes we accept international graduates. The criteria are the same for all applicants.

Q. Does your hospital sponsor visas?
A. No. Mountainside Family Medicine Residency preference is that you have Permanent Resident status or US Citizenship.

Q. What is the deadline for applications?
A. January 30.

Q. Do you require any specific arrangement in the Letters of Recommendation?
A. We require three Letters of Recommendation before your interview date.

Q. Do you have fellowship opportunity in your hospital?
A. Yes.  Mountainside Hospital Family Medicine has a Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.
